Stage one. THE HOPE.

Fighter X wins, many times in spectacular fashion, setting himself up for a potential matchup vs Khabib. At first, the low level trolls post “X is going to beat Khabib” threads immediately after the fight.

Stage two. THE HYPE.

In the days following up the contender fight, higher level haters and trolls start to emerge with “X is going to KO Khabib inside 2 rounds. Proof inside” threads. Typically the reasoning involves “Khabib hasn’t faced a D1 wrestler/creative striker/pace and cardio machine type of fighter yet”, “Khabib is not as hungry as X is”, “X has nothing to lose, he will go for the kill” types of arguments.

Stage three. THE SHOOK.

Around a month before the fight the highest level trolls and haters begin to post analytical threads that usually have the words “shook”, “done”, “fucked” in their titles. They provide carefully selected clips of fights and training sessions indicating the “holes” in Khabib’s game which fighter X will exploit with other carefully selected clips of fighter X provided to support the claim.

Stage four. THE FIGHT NIGHT.

The lower level intoxicated trolls start to pollute the forums with “The end of Khabib is today”, “And neeeeeew” threads. Threads about betting against Khabib, with fake or no slips, are also common.

Stage five. THE AFTERMATH.

A lot of haters disappear for weeks. The obligatory “X was never that good” threads are posted. The next in line fighters begin to receive new hope threads.

Nothing compared to the stages of a Conor McGregor fight

Stage 1: Fight is announced, haters complain & make 100 threads about the opponent and why Conor shouldn't be fighting them

Stage 2: Several months of the shittiest possible threads from his basement dwelling haters

Stage 3: Fight week, where the real MMA fans realize how much excitement Conor brings to the sport. They appreciate it while the bum haters continue to shit post

Stage 4: Fight night, where sherdog collectively prays the entire day for Conor to lose

Stage 5: Aftermath. Win or lose, sherdog website breaks. If he wins, they call fix, if he loses, he was always a shit fighter.

Stage 1: Ramaducks the true contender

Stage 2: fights gate keeper striker instead of the bad matchup for him

Stage 3: ramaducks the true contender for years till they become nearly 40 n out of their prime

Stage 4: have somebody else take the out the out of prime contender for him

Stage 5: ramaduck the new contender who took out the old one and fight another gatekeeper striker (like conor) instead

stage 6: retire before ever facing a true test for him stylistically

As long as he keeps fighting stand up guys, nothing will change.

Were you one of people saying Kevin Lee or Gregor Gillespie would be the end of him ?

You need to add in 2a: mma math. MMA math is always important to a troll to show how their fighter is better than yours because he beat someone yours did not. In Beebs case, since he has never had a actual loss they created a loss by saying “you know he lost to Tibau “ even though he won every round. If you point out Tony’s near loss to Lando 5 years ago or the Castillo fight that he actually lost on one of the judges score cards or the MJ fight he actually lost every round they will say that was 6 years ago so it isn’t relevant while the Tibau fight from 10 years ago is suddenly extremely relevant.

thats for every champion or undefeated fighter

No, I'm the guy who said - Tony, Gaethje, Lee, Pettis, Cowboy, Chiesa, Eddie, Nate, Dariush, Islam Mak, Gregor, Oliveira - any guy with any kind of ground game, Khabib has managed to avoid. For him, it's just a torrent of stand up fighters trying to grow a whole new skill within one camp. It's been boring and not challenging.

Al was the better trained ground guy from the dude's he's faced recently and Khabib gave up trying to beat him and cruised to a decision. So I'm highly suspicious that he would've beaten all those other guys.
