The Fight of the Century at Madison Square Garden. . . .March 8, 1971

Pretty sure vs bonnar vs griffin was way after that. Who fought?

Superman vs Muhammad Ali?

LMFAO

To anyone who has never watched that match: Take an hour, make sure you are in the frame of mind to focus, find it on YouTube and really give it a good watch. You will be amazed that 2 heavyweights can keep up such a pace, and take so much damage for 15 rounds - 45 Minutes!!! Truly one of the greatest and most historic sporting events ever, and it totally lived up to the hype. That kind of grit simply does not exist anymore.

Was an extremely grueling fight...

Technical and fun

Rope-a-dope FTW.

It's bad enough the mod's allow Fedor circle jerks here. You guys have your own little place to play, stay there. We'll be sure to bring you along when another news story breaks about Mcgregor-Mayweather.

This is also legit the hardest punch i've ever seen a fighter take and still coninue. Frazier was a beast

Are you a fight fan?. . . .This is a fight. . . .The biggest fight of all time. . . .no matter what the discipline. . . .one-on-one combat sports.

As a life long boxing fan I'm in!Always loved smokin! Joe!

This one a d the 3rd fight jesus! Can't believe neither one dropped due to exhaustion!

That fight took more years off Frazier than Ali.
Worth a complete watch for anyone that loves combat sports. Just like the Lebanner vs Hunt K1 wars which were more akin to the 3rd Ali/Frazier fight.

After the third fight Ali said "this was the closest to dying I ever felt"

Incredible fight and display of heart and grit from both. It really is a shame they were never able to bury the hatchet in the end. Joe was a stubborn dude and Ali's antics obviously really got under his skin to the point he never got over it.
