Doesn't matter how many belts Dana wrapped round him at the pressers, Conor wasn't champion of anything going into the Khabib fight.

    Easy pick.

Romero vs Whittaker is the best fight I've seen this year. The amount of heart displayed, the pure amount of skill involved. Amazing to watch.

Its hard for me to choose between Dustin Poirer vs Justin Gaethje and Whittaker vs Romero, both those fights are EPIC and my favorite in 2018

Fun fact: Eddie Alvarez won two "fight of the year" awards in 2008 (sherdog and inside MMA), for two different fights.

I picked Manuwa vs Santos. Eventhough there are better and longer fights on the list, this one really had me on the edge of my seat yelling at my screen. The sheer violence and raw power was amazing, I felt a bit dirty after the fight. I think it was over here that I read someone saying 'both of these guys could have been arrested for attempted murder after the fight'.

I can't believe how many people voted for Yair vs KZ.

Outside of the finish it wasn't anything spectacular or overly impressive.

My pick is kyle bozniack va zabbit.
Fight like these only come around once in a while, it takes too to tango and they both throw down, the fight is not competitive but Kyle doesn't give a dann and goes after it so much so that he backs zabbit into the cage walking hands town and screaming and they throw down.

Not many people knew who they wore and they could have dialed in their performances but really put on a show. I haven't screamed like that watching a fight since arlovksi/Travis browne

<mma4> Good choices went with Ferguson/Pettis action packed and exciting but can see Holloway/Ortega take it too.
