Does anyone know how the qualifier works for Judo? Do they do a World Team Trial?

For the world championship you have to fight in Grand Prix and other international tournament to earn point in the ranking.

Then they selected the best from the ranking with the limit of 2 athletes per nation.

So top nation like japan, russia, france and korea have 2 guys in it.

Thank for this Japan won more gold medal that all the other country combined

Japan 10 golds, 4 silver e 9 bronze

All the other nation combined 6 golds , 12 silver e 23 bronze
