This is my list of the 15 (not 20) most RARE MMA submissions from the real fights. Unfortunately I can't use UFC (find north south choke - very rare too) and Pride video, so this is from others.

Do you know something other - rare and attractive from the real fights?

List of rare subs in video:
Guillotine Suplex, Imanari choke from the Omoplata position, Leg Scissor Choke, Gogoplata, Chin to the Eye, Body Crunch, Scarf Hold Armlock, Banana split, Spinning, Flying Armbar, Reverse Triangle Choke, Double Armbar, Ninja Choke, Bicep Cutter, Reverse Boston Crab, giant swing & Achilles Lock

dokonjonosuke mishima beat justin wisniewski by "cobra hold." i know there used to be video of the fight online, but i think now there's just this video of him demonstrating it:

Wow cool video. That bicep slicer or whatever it was that broke that dudes arm was fucking horrific.

Lol at including the big swing heel hook though...

I had a friend with a big chin who used to use that technique. It hurt.

Didn't find that video mishima Vs. justin. That was probably only one cobra choke from real fight. Cobra hold is much rare sub than Von Flue Choke ...

    WTF is that??? :icon_chee
I just saw JOE SON highlights - he lost with "Terror" but I don't know what is that :icon_chee. He lost all fights in MMA and all was pure comedy.

Good list. A few more off the top of my head
Tyrone Henderson vs Young Gi Hong, pretty common sub but rare that it's landed while the guy applying it is mounted

    Shinya Murofushi vs Masayoshi Kato
I think it's still considered a hammerlock but I can't think of another time it was hit from guard

    Sotaro Yamada vs Strasser Kiichi
    Another example of The Imanari

Ninja Choke - Shuichiro Katsumura vs Masakatsu Ueda
See it get attempted from time to time but rarely see it finished

I guess maybe McKenzitine, Farmaconda, Mir Lock and "Mr. Wonderful" if you want to get really specific.

And few people do a guillotine so fast that it can really be called a Swickotine.

And you have some flying stuff on your list but I didn't see flying (scissor) heel hook...

I thought I saw a couple dark age match records show that some fighters used to win by biting and it'd alternate between TKO and Submission but mostly sub iirc.

I want to see somebody win by Vaporizer, if you're flexible enough you can skip the circuitous entry that Bravo recommends, but I remember some people say it's necessary to take a variation of that approach at the highest levels.

Used to not see brabo choke victories.

We need no gi asylum chokes.

Yes, Genki Sudo. This is WWF move (Giant Swing), but Sudu use it in real fight - probably nobody else :).

Thanks Asurah for great examples, will use these subs in the future.

    "real fight"

It was clearly a Pancrase work.
