I'm a fan of Barao and was cheering for him tonight, but TJ thoroughly impressed me tonight and him finishing a tough guy like Barao in the 5th was icing on the cake.

Before the upset we basically had Barao dominating the division, he had cleared out the whole division except for Assuncao and Cruz.

Now we have

Dillashaw vs Assuncao 2
Dillashaw vs Barao 2
Dillashaw vs Faber(do it urijah)
Dillashaw vs Cruz
Dillashaw vs Dodson(Yes the #3 flyweight holds a TKO win over the 135 champ)
Dillashaw vs Mighty Mouse(footwork for days)
Dillashaw vs Eduardo

Of course most of these fights won't happen, but the possibilties are endless.

Lets all be real here...

Dillashaws just keepin that belt warm till Cruz gets back.

Almost three years since Cruz's last fight after multiple major injuries. Not likely.

The +550 underdog outclassed the undefeated (kind of) champion and it was glorious to behold

Agreed. I'm a lot more interested in these fights than anything Barao had on the horizon.

We've still yet to see Dillashaw against a wide variety of styles and he seems to be improving so rapidly that I'm very interested in how he'll look against future opponents, much as I am with Weidman. I'd especially like to see him against a faster opponent since his speed seemed to be part of his success against Barao. A shame that most of those guys are currently at Flyweight.

And don't forget Michael McDonald. He may have gotten wrecked by Faber but Dillashaw has a very different style. I'd be interested in seeing how they'd match up if we ever get to that point. At the very least I think it'd make for an exciting fight.

Everybody barao beat just became a contender, except for Eddie wineland
