I don't think GSP's problem was that he didn't take Serra seriously. He was always very disciplined, and had the utmost respect for his opponents' skills. GSP got caught, Rockhold got shut up.

But its not a fact. His GSP moment was vitor punting his head like a soccer ball. This was him getting schooled because he was over confident & cocky. Congrats Bisbing

I think Luke can fix his mental game and be less prone to exposing himself to stuff like this, but his lack of head movement and weak chin will make him a more fallible fighter than someone like prime Anderson. He could totally be a great champion though.
 
I would have thought Luke would beat GSP, but GSP could have KO'd Luke.
 
Comparing a random flavor of the month fighter with gsp and his sustained run of excellence is stupid
 
Luke has great kicks but his hands really aren't great. Neither is his head movement. I think Bisping was just able to exploit that really well. Rockhold probably was over confident by not staying at range but... That's the fight game.

Props to Bisping, he was the better man tonight.

He certainly made the same mistake that Gsp and rampage both made

The golden rule of being a champion: take every single opponent as seriously as if it were your most dangerous opponent

Exactly. Rockhold's weakness has always been striking defense and movement. But I didn't think Bisping could make him pay.

Luke was lackadaisical at best tonight. Too cocky.
