So much heart, so much grit.

Any one that talks shit about WMMA after this is a joke.

Damn that girl has heart, awesome fight and finish.

Meisha Tate just killed WMMA.

End thread.

love that dana white face

Even after Ronda beat Miesha twice I knew Miesha would beat Holly, everyone here was hating on Miesha because she lost.. now everyone loves her again.

I was rooting for Holly, but that was a beautiful performance. Tate earned that shit. And she was HUMBLE in victory. Nice fight.

and just to give you guys some perspective- the way Miesha put Holly through the meat-grinder in rd. 2 is exactly what Mendes could have done to McGregor if he didn't go for the white belt BJJ move.

lol @ ppl saying male MMA is that far ahead of WMMA.

Any locker room cams for Dana?

Beautiful Hollywood ending.

lol Dana.

I love Miesha. Holly, too... but HOLY SHIT!!!! What a moment!

My first thought watching that entire fight was that WMMA has arrived. That was fucking legit as fuck.

I cannot think of another time I have been happier for a person winning the belt. A lot of people hate WMMA but if you love MMA and understand the heart of Miesha Tate then you have to be happy and appreciate what just happened. I for one am thrilled and congratulate an athlete, fighter and MMA competitor for their win which would never happen without the highest level of determination.

That scramble at the end, with the belt on the line, are the kind of moments that make MMA so awesome.

It's even more inspiring to think how many times Miesha has tried and failed short of winning the UFC belt and how she kept climbing back up and now finally won the title.

Fight of the night so far!!! Hope Diaz and Conor can match that and it's not crap.
