I have in the last few years come to appreciate Dolly Parton for her artistry. I really love "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You," as long pantheon songs, but I haven't found anything else she done on that level (except "Islands in the Stream" of course, but that's a duet) to date. Has she done anything else in that mold?
Next time I'm at Sam Goody I'll pick up the compact disc! I should start downloading "greatest hits" albums more tho. I have this weird OCD where i have to put entire albums on my ipod, which keeps me away from artists who only have a few songs i know or like.
haha apparently amazon has Roy great hits cd's for $.30. I've been buying CD's lately since either way that shit is going on my ipod. That way I have something I can keep in my car and it's cheaper half the time anyway
$.30 is hilarious and nauseating at the same time. I had dreams of this breathtaking CD collection and spent my college years building it $14 a pop. Then torrents came out and made such a fool of me. I actually wasted a Christmas on a big, fancy CD rack...which is like having a big mahogany garbage can in your room now.
