To all my music nerds who listen to Animal Collective, Avey Tare, and/or Panda Bear... "Buoys" came out today. My personal favorites after 2 listens are "Cranked", "Token", & "Buoys"

If you've listened I'd love to hear your impression on the album! May be my favorite since Merriweather Post Pavilion, but it's much too early to tell. Drop some knowledge on me, Sherdog music nerds!

Merriweather Post Pavilion was incredible, and unlike many critical darlings, has stood the test of time. I'll have to check this out.

Do it. MPP hasn't aged as well as I hoped, but the melodies are still spot on. Buoys is... dare I say... better. I hope you enjoy!

big fan of animal collective, and although avey tare's down there and slasher flicks were good, and deakin's solo album was really good too, panda bear has the best solo stuff and tomboy is fantastic.

definitely looking forward to listening to this.

I love MPP, as well as Person Pitch but the first couple of tracks of this where not doing it for me.
