Who is he trying to fool this time? He isn't a legit contender and he is over the hill at this point imo. I don't think he could win against Duffee at this point.

Mir is inconsistent.....which is relative to his lack of focus @ this point in his career. I made the mistake of counting him out long ago only to be reassured he is still a "bad ass". He's just been doing it a while ya know.

Mir is 36. The current champ is 38 and the guy Mir just lost to is 41. If Mir retires, it would probably not be due to age. He said before the fight he wants to go another 4, 5 maybe 10 (!) years. If he wants to continue to fight and make money, he can probably still beat 75% of the bums in the UFC heavyweight division. He should really consider getting in better shape though if he wants to keep going.

After awhile, it's less about age and more about head trauma. Werdum hasn't taken nearly as much as Mir. Hunt...well, Hunt's head is a whole different beast to begin with.

Mir's taken a lot of brutal KO's over the years. And while getting KO'd by Hunt isn't something to be ashamed about, ithat's like his 8th KO loss or whatever.

yes but its gettin to hte point were mir might drop a fight or two against said bums. No one wants to see that happen and his career is pretty much all highlights as far as wins go.

time to hang em up. unless he needs the money
