Even if you were a Ben Askren hater you have to admit you wanted to see the fight last longer. Just like we all wanted to see the Conor vs. Aldo fight last longer even those of us who badly wanted to see Aldo lose.

Ben's 2 fights in the UFC have both been disappointing. 1st fight - Herb Dean robs us of a definitive ending and then 2nd fiht lasts a few seconds.

I guess now a Robbie Lawler rematch is next for Ben....either that or Darren Till.

I think he can get back up and solidify a couple decent wins....he still has a good 1 or 2 years left and his style doesn't rely on explosiveness/power, meaning more longevity.

He sure was a disappointment

Should never have entered the cage with a legit gangsta like Jorge

Hopefully he can get more streetwise and not get outsmarted by any more killers like he did tonight

I like both of them. The quick KO was cool and all, but I wish we actually saw them fight. Like if Masvidal did this at the beginning of the second round, that would have been way better.

It’s hard to say any fight that ends that quickly isn’t a disappointment, especially one on a ppv card

no fucking way, you can't get better than that, that was a perfect MMA moment.

yeah, let's be honest. that wasn't as much of a fight, as it was two people colliding together at a very fast rate. props to masvidal, but if they actually stand for a few seconds in front of each other, the fight is probably a lot different.

No, it was perfect. He payed an ultimate price for being one of the most one dimensional MMA fighters since the early days.

Nah im fine with the fastest KO in UFC history.

Hopefully they give asskren another fight and hopefully he gets KO'd again so he can finally go down as the can he is

Dude that win for masbidal is legit the best win a fighter could ask for. Legit barely any work and 0 damage. Wins good money and can fight in a few weeks if he wants to.

The moment itself more than made up for the fight. We knew Mas was a savage, and we knew Ben has next to zero striking ability.

Any fight that ends really quick is disappointing. While it was a spectacular K.O, I wish we had got at least a full round or 2. Looking forward to seeing how Askren handles this.

My stream died and when I came back Jorge was already walking around smugly and Ben was stretched out like a corpse on an autopsy table and I was like damn this must have been quick. Yep.

Had the ref stopped that fight on time, I'm not sure that record for fastest KO would ever be beaten in the UFC. That should've been a 3 second KO.

I wasn't disappointed at all. I fuckin loved it.

leave it to a sherbro to be unsatisfied with the most entertaining moment of the year so far

Sure, Askren got dat wrestling & probably the fight would differently had it lasted a little longer. But it didn't and in the night that it mattered Askren got put to sleep brutally after all that shit he talked. My blood lust is satisfied specially watching a bully get smashed.
