I love you guys. Ever sense i've started reading and posting here. my strength has increased so much. I used to think oh yeah lets lift weights and do loads of reps and ill get strong go me. Thank god i found this site. ever sense I found out about 1-5 reps gives you strength and then 6-12 gives you muscle mass and endurance and so on. I've been destroying people in rugby. I used to be an ok tackler but could never really dump tackle anyone heavyer than me. A dump tackle is like a double leg takedown where you pick the person up and drive him back down. Ever sense I have been lifting heavy and doing deadlifts, benchpress, squats and other exercises in my local gym (thats including bicep curls im sorry but i added them in 1-5 reps as well) I have been destroying everything that runs at me. im dump tackling people weighing 18 stone or 19 stone who are running at me full speed and suplexing and driving back anyone who runs at me. and my mate bigtodd1444 he plays for the same rugby team as me and he started lifting heavy a month or so ago and hes already getting results and our team is going on tour this friday and were playing a team whos forwards all weigh 16-20 stone and they run straight at you so it will great fun for me, my game has improved so much sense lifting heavy.
