I clicked to go on the P & M board about 10 minutes ago, & my computer froze. As I was about to reboot, my Norton Antivirus program alerted me with the following message: "A recent attempt to attack your computer was blocked". This was as a result of just going to the P & M board; I hadn't even gotten a chance to click on any particular thread! I understand that there are some jerks who put crap in their posts to mess with people's computers, but how does this happen by merely going to a board???

Could be one of the ads on the screen. My anti-virus warns me about stuff like that all the time.

You mean some of Sherdogs advertisers place ads that attack member's computers?
    Guess I'll skip the P & M board from now on...:icon_sad:

I doubt if there are special adds only visible from P&M, or that they are attacking your computer. I'm guessing your computer was attacked (or NAV though it was) at the same time you happened to be visiting P&M. You should check the log and find out what it was warning you about.
