Who was the more influential person on human life?

Flemming who invented Antibiotics that elongated life and turned many fatal illnesses non fatal
Or
Tesla who invented modern electricity which changed the way people lived.

Ranking which one was more valuable to mankind which would you rank ahead of the other?

Elon Musk would say Tesla, but I’m going Fleming with a nod to Lois Pasteur.

Well, drugs and antibiotics couldn't be mass produced without electricity, so I would say Tesla. And, Flemming didn't invent antibiotics... he discovered them by accident. Tesla actually worked out his AC grid.

Not forgetting his creation of the fictional British Secret Service agent, James Bond.....

I think you'd have to go further back than that. Civilization would be impossible without plumbing and waste removal. I can go a week without electricity. But a week without running water?

Dunno who the most beneficial person was, but I do know who was the most harmful. This dude right here:

The inventor of both leaded gasoline and CFC's.
Environmental historian J. R. McNeill opined that Midgley "had more impact on the atmosphere than any other single organism in Earth's history"

Musk is actually more similar to Edison than Tesla. An entrepreneur who became fabulously wealthy off the work stolen from other men. He himself admitted that he preferred Edison-
But "on balance," says Musk, "I'm a bigger fan of Edison than Tesla." Why? Because "Edison brought his stuff to market and made those inventions accessible to the world." The shunned Serbian-Croatian inventor Tesla "didn't really do that," points out Musk.

Musk had no part in naming his car company. He bought out the existing engineers who founded it.

Lol Fleming didn't invent shit. Didn't even bother developing it.

Musk spoke like a true capitalist. Tesla was planning to give away free electricity.

It's incredible how Musk is held up as some environmentalist hippy in liberal circles when he is actually a Randian libertarian. He is basically a heterosexual Peter Thiel with worse fashion sense and less social awareness.

Wow! I've been on a huge Tesla binge lately. Just posted about him in another thread. Funny you mentioned him. He has always be the historical individual who fascinates me the most. Someone asked Einstein how it felt to be the smartest man alive. His response "I wouldn't know you should ask Nikola Tesla" Everything that man ever studied, created, or said should be thoroughly investigated and analyzed.
