Has anyone else thought much about how there's already so much talk of a trilogy fight, that there is a temptation for the Diaz and McGregor fight to be a little, suspect shall we say?

I would never want to question Diaz's character, but is it that much of an outlandish theory....?

A guy like Nate who struggled for the big pay days for 10 years.... approached .... "lose the fight and here's another mil in a briefcase, when you guys fight for a third and final time do what you want"

Guarantees another huge pay day, for a third time....

He would have taken a dive in the first fight if that was how things work.

And McGregor would have fought the LW or WW champ.

You're seriously hypothesising such things in an era which has seen Rhonda finished, McGregor finished and Jines suspended.

UFC are not pulling the strings that bad cause if they are they are fucking thing up hardcore.
 
if Nate wins for a 2nd time, Nate doesn't need Mcgregor anymore for a big payday. Then HE is the big payday.

So he should go for the win and say "Fuck you!" too whoever even tries to approach him with such a thought.

What are you talking about? Why would he take a dive in the first fight? There would be no rematch and he would take a loss. It was WAY more beneficial for him to beat Conor, which made him a superstar, rich, and secured a rematch which will be even bigger.

If Diaz wants to make money he should beat Mcgregor as impressively as possible. No body gives two shits about Nate if he loses and he wont get a rematch. But if he wins! If he wins and keeps charming america on tonight shows and espn then he gains power to control his destiny a little more and the sky is the limit. Why even bother watching if all your going to do is moan about its rigged yada yada yada?

Yeah he needs to win this fight this is his chance. He has done a good job with the media for a Diaz brother and he can really be a superstar. People like Nate.

Nah, unless Diaz has it written in a contract he's not throwing the fight. He knows Conor would just tuck his tiny little dick between his legs and avoid a rubber match at any and ALL costs and make the first fight out to be a fluke.

Unless he's got it in writing, he's walking into T-Mobile Arena On August 20th around 6pm PST and he's gonna put the stamp on Conor's ass and end this one with a TKO on the feet. Shut his bitch fans up for life.

Exactly, and Nate knows this. Color would run his Tito Ortiz 2.0 ass off. Like I said, there's NO WAY Nate throws the fight unless the UFC threw in a guaranteed rubber match agreement should Nate lose and had it written in the contract. Then and only then would he even ponder such bullshit and even then I doubt he'd do it.
 
I'm not the biggest fan of the Diaz brothers, but they strike me as the last fighters who would consider throwing a fight.

The sport is not corrupt because if it were super stars like Ronda and Conor would have never lost. Its very hard to fix a fight as opposed to team sports.

How do you work that out? With team game based corruption you have much greater risk with more people involved.

Its easier to pretend to miss a shot on goal than it is to accidentally make it look like you got knocked the feck out.
