Teh Chris aprecciation thread

The Chris put on an end to a very overrated run , a run which filled up with watered down competition and gave two beatdowns as a punishment to one of the biggest PED cheaters and frauds the sport has seen , Respect.

The irony is palpable.

I'm a Weidman fan through thick and thin. He's got a tall order tonight. Hoping he can pull it off.

Lol. Tell us how you feel bro.

AS was a monster. Beat everyone they threw at him, moved up weight class and smashed there too. Not his fault that MW was weak back then.

George didn't even dare move weight classes and smashed a bunch ex-champs and underweight fighters. Let's not forget Greasegate and IV bags.

As a formerly huge Silva fan.
Let's talk about greasing.

Specifically, if you can explain these to me.

Also, feel free to elaborate on IV bags, i'd love to hear it.

Chris gets more than his share of grief around here

Here's the wrestler landing a hard kick to the karate expert

If Rockhold had won id be rooting for him so we could see a rematch at 205, but we all know how that went......

All of Weidman's 4 losses have been competetive fights against the best-of-the-best.
Mousasi, Rockhold, Romero and Jacare. That's a fucking murderer's row.

He also fought them during their best streaks (don't wanna use the word prime)
Fought Rockhold before his loss to Bisping
Fought Yoel before he lost to Whittaker
Fought Moose before Schlemenko

And even when Weidman loses badly - he's always competitive, he's never completely run over during every single round
* Unanimously won the 1st round against Yoel
* Unanimously won the 1st round against Moose
* Unanimously won the 1st and 2nd round against Jacare
* One judge gave him the 1st round against Rockhold
