Coffee drinker? Tea drinker? Both or neither? Maybe you’re more of a ruin your gut type and stick to daily energy drinks - gross.

personally i think tea is the superior product and has way more to offer in terms of variety of tastes both with caffeine and without. It also i think works better with pastries, cheese and all sorts of sandwiches.

anyone have any good tea or coffee or other drinks to recommend? None of that lipton shit please.

another thing i’ve recently tried is MUD/WTR - it’s pretty damn good i’d say, but the marketing emails from the ceo use the phrase “mud fam” which makes me not want to buy from them anymore though.

I prefer tea. I drink tons of it at home. I drink coffee at work though because it's just easier as it's always made.

Tea. Coffee culture is up there with hipsters in having a negative impact on society -- which is why they go hand in hand.

both
tea
I drink it straight lose leaf
favorite is probably puer red, followed by Zhejiang yellow, also my wife's hometown has some real solid greens that I drink abusivly
my wife's cousin works in the industry and hooks us up with good tea regularly it's awesome

my guilty pleasure is tea leaf ciggies with gong fu tea it def gets you a buzz when mixed

I drink tea like there is a hole in my gut. Herbal, black, green, white, pu erh, tulsi, whatever - you name it. Wonderful beverage, and a fascinating cultural phenomenon. Would strongly recommend reading The Book of Tea by Okakura Kakuzō too - quite a beautiful book, and more historically significant than people might think.

Side note - yerba mate kind of sucks.

Both. I can't drink full caffeine so I'm limited but just bought a ew coffee machine with an iced coffee option so I'm in iced coffee heaven right now.

one benefit of working in Asia
the opposite is true lol
basically any office you go to they welcome you with a piping hot plastic cup of lose leaf tea
That would be nice. I would probably never drink coffee if that was the case.

Tea is wonderful but you have to be careful so many OD’s

I've had bad mate, but I really like ecoteas unsmoked pure leaf. Gets rid of some of the harsh character the stems can have and gives you more of the actual leaf flavor. Have to make sure you don't overheat the water though.

Green tea in the morning during the week, and iced coffee in the afternoon after lunch.

Coffee all day during the weekends until the clock strikes beer:thirty.

Maybe I'll give it another shot. I was a fairly new tea drinker when I had it and now I've been doing fairly fancy tea preparations for almost twenty years so my temperature control for brewing is pretty good.

I'm hooked on cold brew now. May need an intervention soon.
