Taylor vs Serrano fight is off

    I'd be curious to see just how low the number was. There's just less money to go around without ticket sales, though. They're going to have to compromise or sit out until crowds come back. Neither is a good option, but they're the only ones.

    It was going to be a tall order for Amanda fighting overseas against someone who got a gift decision two fights ago

    Indeed. But there's no chance that Taylor would have clearly outclassed Serrano.

    Amanda is a well schooled and durable lefty with speed and power. Even if Katie would've won it would've been a contentious win, which would have at least raised Serrano's profile. As long as the money's right, it's a no lose fight for Amanda. Taylor won't blow her out much less knock her out and... even in a close loss Amanda would lay claim to an immediate rematch. It's a no lose situation for her as long as the money is right.

    Serrano is no doubt the better fighter in my mind but Taylor is bigger and got a favorable decision very recently.
