I wasn't terribly impressed with kawajiri ufc run. Every fight he used his wrestling and strength to control opponents, and inflicted minimal damage with strikes. His striking skillset is really poor considering how many years he has been fighting. I hope he improves that.

He will be a solid addition to rizin or one fc.

His striking actually used to be pretty damn good. I don't know what happened. He was spinning around like a drunk ballerina against Bermudez. It was confusing as fuck and a pitiful performance.

He's clearly on the downslide, and even though I've been a huge fan of his since his Shooto days, I wouldn't be too upset if he did get cut.

I don't get it either. Most fighters don't start out as decent strikers and get worse with time.

Must be change of camp and no decent striking coach now.
