And it's going to be at flyweight

Sheesh that division has been getting on fire and now they are going to add the female Khabib in it? Interesting, very interesting.

So she has said it herself, she was answering fan questions in the comments and she also said she is fighting at 125lbs for her return.

Good, Flyweight needs more contenders. If she enters the mix, there will be a nice little crop of fresh contenders and a couple of rematches to possibly set up with Valentina (that is if she can continue to hold on to the title).

Beast, the closest version to Khabib that wmma has. I'll be excited to watch her per usual.

For how long tho? I expect her to get sidelined again shortly thereafter.

Shame given her talent, I mean she absolutely mauled Esparza with her wrestling and we recently saw Carla become a contender again, and at 125 we saw Shev have issues with the grappling of Santos, so there's a decent chance someone like Suarez would make her life a living hell if they fought.

If she's healthy, she can be champ. No doubt about it. This will be an interesting comeback.

Exciting news if true, but I will believe it when I see it.
This. I really hope she comes back and the time off did her good. However, that long of a layoff leaves a lot of open questions.

No pics? I barely remember her… didn’t she almost lose to Nina Nunes?

That's the fight where she reinjured her neck. It made it look like she gassed terribly. Given how long it's taken her to get back, I really question if she'll ever be able to stay healthy.

Recovering from a neck injury that has kept her sidelined for years is going to be extremely hard to come back from. Add in her knee injury and unfortunately I don't we'll ever get to see Suarez become champ or fulfill her potential as a fighter.
i hope youre wrong but thats a very feasible take on things. Tatiana was really fun to watch and had a great style.
I’ll believe it when she is the cage

She’s hurt me before
also this. so many times she has said shes returning and then gets injured or something else happens. maybe when she comes back she will be even more fired up due to all of the missed opportunities?

I love Tatiana, her story and her skills. She is a great prospect. I think flyweight is the far tougher division and I respect her for choosing that. Maybe the cut to strawweight wasn't an option any more but it's the far more wide open division. Maybe she's worried the Carla loss holds her back there.

Either way i respect her for going flyweight. Valentina looms up at the top there, monstrous and slick prospects like Manon and O'Neill and Blanchfield and Grasso, cagey veterans like Murphy and Chookagian and Andrade, it's the toughest UFC women's division by far.

People forgetting her fight vs Nina Nunes.

Hoping that was just a poor performance from her and that she's gotten better because she's a super fun addition to the division, esp with Blanchfield and Santos being hot right now (figuratively)

and literally
