Personally I think thats a great idea, he should go all out on it too make it gritty and brutal. And the he should shoot it on film and when hes done he should take the film and throw it in the trash, what do you guys think about that?

I wanted him to try sci fi, but horror would be good too.

sci fi horror? lol

I thought his last movie was his last movie?

Oh, god... no. It’s gonna be crap just like Grindhouse

Actually, I just bought the extended & uncut DEATH PROOF on Blu-ray & it'snot a bad little thriller. I hadn't seen it in about a decade back when it was still edited together with Robert Rodriguez's PLANET TERROR as GRINDHOUSE. So, I wanted to see it on its own & it's a lot better than I remembered it.

So it won't really be a horror, more like how dusk till dawn was. He won't be able to help himself with the typical qt dialogue. Don't expect a true horror film.

Yeah Death Proof is solid

I was exhausted in the theater by that point, we saw a midnight showing holy shit what a bad idea for a double feature

Another cool factoid about Death Proof is its the on ly movie where Tarantino was his own director of photography, so your seeing his own camera work, and theres some great shits in the movie if your into that gritty look.

Yeah, for sure. There are, indeed, a lot of great shots in DEATH PROOF. I think he did an excellent job with it.

So is the whole Star Trek thing forgotten now?

I'd rather not see horror from him at this point. How about an epic disaster movie instead?
