So I was just checking out the results of Metamoris 7, and I see that ALL BUT ONE match ended in a DRAW.

I think Chael maybe onto something with his new Grappling organization.

Poor Ralek Gracie... he opens up a Jiu Jitsu Tourney.. ... Puts on a series of matches, and out of all the matches, he is the ONE and ONLY Person to lose at the whole tourney.

Can't help but feel for the guy....

Full results:
Stephen Martinez vs Morgan Neidlinger (draw)
Fabio Leopoldo vs Eduardo Telles (draw)
Satoshi Ishii vs Vladimir Matyushenko (draw)
Richie Martinez vs Kevin Casey (draw)
Bruno Malfacine vs Jeff Glover (draw)
Garry Tonon defeated Ralek Gracie (kneebar)

From my understanding Tonon is a beast so is there really all that much shame in losing to him?

If you're up to speed on the latest in the BJJ comp scene, then you know Tonon was a heavy favorite to beat Ralek. Way more active in competition, especially sub-only formats.

Ryron Gracie got subbed by Josh Barnett at Metamoris 6 so it's not the first time this has happened. Who really cares anyway, there's no shame in tapping. Even as a Gracie. And Ryron and Ralek will probably tell you the same thing.

But Kron RNC'd Tonon a couple years ago at the ADCCs, so the name is still upheld XD. Tonon is a beast though, some of the guys I know train with him and Gordon Ryan.

Tonon is da man brah, no shame on losing against him

Eddie Bravo was the one who created the rule set Chael used on his show

its a beautiful thing to see this tourneys happen, and grappling only events becoming more popular.

I didn't know the Janitor was in it or else I would have watched.
