Apparently "Tales From The Hood 2" is happening with original director Rusty Cundieff (who should've become one of the GOAT directors after Fear of a Black Hat and TFTH) and executive produced by Spike Lee. It's seemingly already shot and debuting at a Film Fest in July. Good Shit

Learning the word "niglet" as a child watching the original opened my eyes to new possibilities of the English language and that entire doll segment scared the shit out of me in the process. Looks like the dolls will back! , but they couldn't get Clarence Williams' old ass back as the mortician... although Keith David will be a badass replacement.

Bought the blu-ray last year, holds up well, though the most disturbing thing was how the guy in the last segment's dong was practically showing in the hell part of the segment, grossed me out.
Good move getting Keith David to play Clarence Williams III's role.

I hope it's a classic but I'm afraid Hollywood will cheapen it by adding in a love triangle that didn't exist in the first movie, and add in a transgender person to be "inclusive", and change the entire cast to "the female version of...".

For being "the hood," there are an awful lot of white people. The formula fits the early 90's, I don't think it will now.

Best part of the original movie besides the Domino song was watching it on regular TV and hearing everyone call each other punk maggot farmers.

Tales From The Hood creeped me the fuck out. I think I've only seen it twice and I remember all the stories and most of the dialogue. I remember every white dude I knew who were so called horror films fanatics had never seen it. But they have finally started to catch up
