I've been taking glucosamine sulphate tablets for a while now, but recently bought some MSM and chondroitin powders. There's two problems I'm having with taking them though:

The recommended dosage is 0.5g and 1g respectively. I have a feeling that's within the margin of error of my digital kitchen scales. Does anyone know a reliable way of measuring this without buying precise micro-measuring equipment?

I tried mixing it with cold water and it both sticks together in lumps and tastes like crap. Any ideas to get around this?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone's able to give.

If you are really wanting to make your own, just invest in a decent scale (maybe the one you have is fine). Take some items you know the weight of and test it out.

I would also probably just make capsules. If you Google Cap 'Em Quick you will find a lot of places that sell this device and the empty capsules. It can get a little messy though.
