I've seen a few posts about the benefits of keeping a training journal, and even said myself that they're an essential part of development, but I'm gonna stop writing/typing for a while.
It's great when you're consistently hitting new landmarks, and making great progress, but the second that progress slows down - and it surely will - the journal becomes a nagging reminder that things aren't as good as a month ago or whatever.
I trained last night without the subconcious "must make a mental note of everything that happens" thing going on inside my head, and I couldn't believe how much I just enjoyed it. So that will be my attitude for a while, just have fun and see what happens. I can unnecessarily worry about my progress again in a couple of months' time :icon_chee
