But when we look at this lot, with no idea about their credentials, and blast them for all being women - are we different? Not really. We're just judging them without paying attention to their credentials either. There are some really badass women soldiers out there, women who are especially qualified to deal with defense issues. Turns out this lot isn't them... But still, I don't like ignorance of who they are and just focusing on their gender.

Preciously why my comment was about the lack of qualifications. I've always said regardless of what the position is I want the incumbent to be the best person for the job.

Here's the thing. I didn't even need to google their credentials to have an understanding of the situation. I already know that in most western or european cultures women in actual combat positions are an extreme rarity. I also know that these countries in the pic are passive s. So when I see a pussy nation with a female as their defense minister I already know it's a political message to the world that they are pussies and no threat to other nations.

Now if the Yazidis, Kurds, or Israelis had a female defense minister I wouldn't doubt her ability. These are warrior cultures where women are active in combat and on the frontlines.


To sum it up, it's OK to make an educated guess when you already know enough about the situation.

"Minister of defense" has essentially become a position to be used in order to fill the "diversity quota" in Western countries, due to the dependency upon America's military strength and the lack of a proper sovereign army. It is a meaningless position, outside of managing new cuts on the military in case more money is needed to uphold the extensive bureaucracy that socialism requires.

I don't know about all that. Women can be downright ruthless compared to most men. With a few notable exceptions, most men will just kill you if they need revenge or to stop you.
