Well here are some facts:
Germany's secretary of defense 'von der Leyen' studied human medicine after dropping out of some previous studies.
She was Germany's minister of Family Affairs and Youth (literally 'families, women, and youth' (?)), then minister of labor and social affairs and after that she was rotated into the position of minister of defense. A really talented woman she just can do anything.
Of course, she has absolutely zero experience with anything even remotely related to the military.
Norway's minister of defense, Ine Soreide studied law and worked as a producer for a local TV channel.
She has absolutely zero experience with anything even remotely related to the military.
Albania's minister of defense, Mimi Kodheli graduated in economic science. Her only qualification seems to be that she "participated" in a course “National Security Policy” of the Marshall European Centre for Security Studies.
None of them has any background that would make them a good candidate for this position.
Especially in Germany they just rotate their politicians through different positions which have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
