You can laugh, but all hes doing is putting in work.

Kelvin
Robbie
Wonderboy
Maia

And has had like 4 title fights in a year, never misses weight, sure you can say hes boring but look at who he has beat. He beat maia the way he had too, did what a smart fighter would do. GSP doesnt seem to eager to step in with him either.

Woodley is slowly becoming a GOAT. He has one of the best resumes in the sport right now

EDIT: GSP is also avoiding returning to WW because of this man. He fears getting beat up worse than the hendricks fight.

why are you brushing over this fact lol pretty sure the literal purpose of us fans is to have fun - to enjoy the fights

if youre boring youre shit

He did what he had to do against Maia, but I was disappointed at his performance against Wonderboy in both fights. Hopefully he kicks it up a notch from now on.

Like maia wasnt fucking known to be boring lol, woodley just stuffed him and out bored him.

Added another name to his resume.

is "b-but that guy is boring too!" supposed to be a defense? lmao

Woodley's definitely one of the top 5 WW's of all time. He's going to need 4-7 more victories to definitively surpass GSP however.

You can blame him, but its also the opponents fault too. Wonderboy is a counter striker and woodley HAD to stay patient and not overcommit. Maia is the same, you have to be careful and stay away from his shots. Woodley fought smart calculated fights.

He just happened to fight both of them back to back.

Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. He's doing well for sure but making a lot of people dislike him in the process. I also find it pretty crazy that both Tyron Woodley and Demian Maia were KTFO by Nate "The Great" Marquardt.

Woodley is frustrating because he has all the talent in the world to be a true great that people would love to see.

He could have easily finished Maia and Thompson.

Woodley is putting together a nice resume for sure but I still can't how he is on his way to GOAT status when Rory would destroy him again if they fought.

And I think the reason GSP doesn't seem eager to fight him is because GSP isn't trying to do anything other than make $$$ in his last few fights. And Tyron is not the guy to fight if you want to make bank.

And he still makes shit for money, so what's the point? Haven't you heard that saying "If it don't make dollars it don't make sense"? His ppv buys are shit because he's not fun to watch, he can't even get over 250k buys on his own, and after this fight he might be getting down to Demetrius Johnson type ppv buy rates. What's the point of having a good resume if it doesn't get you a good salary?

It was boring, but in the end he won and snapped maias 7 fight win streak.
dana actually gave a pretty good answer to this during the postfight conference

"its easy to say a win is a win but when you get booed out of an arena it means people dont wanna watch you fight, and if thats how you make your living, thats not good"

rightfully this performance cost him the GSP fight
