Today I learnt that Damien Maia is world class striker. Or wait, you didn't watch that fight either.
I saw Woodley defending all of Maia's takedowns for 5 rounds and neutralizing his game.

Yes because Maia is an elite wrestler right? Defending TDs from a BJJ artist is not considered dominating him in his domain. It is if you don't watch fights.

You said he doesn't defend his belt but then went on to list his defenses. Tyron defended his belt 3 times within a year. Name a single champion in recent memory who has done that.
He had 4 title fights in a year, guys a beast

Woodley is:
-disliked by Dana
-extremely unpopular with UFC viewers
-36 yrs old
-injury-plagued
-low output (fights/yr)
-horrible at self-promotion
-a racist

And this guy expects to get multiple division fights, let alone belts. Woodley is an idiot. He's the most reliable fighter for saying stupid things.

GIF Shoop ready for George Constanza flying out of the b-room before Seinfeld says, "And you wanna be my latex salesman..."

Only way he gets 3 more belts is if he literally steals them. <Lmaoo>

He's already stealing (figuratively) our time, forcing us to wait for him to fight someone and when he does, he wastes our time with these "chess matches" that are really just staring contests.

Dominant fashion? The first defense was a draw, so he didn't even win. The second was a majority decision, so one of the judges thought he didn't win. The 3rd was a grinding decision. He's not exactly knocking fools out.
It sucks that Tyron really isn't given credit for what he does. Wonderboy was (and probably still is) one of the hardest fighters to figure out at 170. And is also a super hard fight for T-Wood. As we've seen. He still won against Wonderboy regardless of anything, and he HANDILY denied the shit out of Maia.
No, he didn't get a knockout. Are we really at a point where that defines everything? GSP didn't knock dudes out cold left and right during his reign.

Didnt GSP just make a trial weight cut to 155 successfully? he can got for 5!!!

Tyron is frustrating because with that power and that skill with that explosiveness and wrestling, you know he could be putting guys out like Romero. But he just fights too safely.

At the time many posters here used to hate on GSP for doing that too. In time T-wood will be remembered more favourably, he won the championship fairly against a strong champion and defended it against two fighters who were on good streaks before their fight with him. It’s on a contender to beat a champion, it’s on the champion to retain his title.
