Great fight, but can this carry a PPV as a main event?

I know it's about early to be thinking about future opponents but.... I'd like to see TJ in a dance off with Cruz.

Can't be worse than any PPV Barao headlined.

I'm thinking the UFC might make T.J the new Benson or Mighty Mouse and have him do a couple of Fox cards to see how what kind of numbers he can pull and then once his name is out there a bit more, chuck him on as a headliner of a PPV.

Now that would be main event material.

If he keeps up the exciting performances and dominates, he could be the next breakthrough star of the UFC. You're right in that they'll definitely test the waters with Fox, and probably pour a decent bit of money into promoting him.
