Desecration of an Armenian church by Western backed Rebels and or their Islamist buddies.

The Rebels the West helps are riddled with Islamists and mount operations with Jihadis. Either the secular rebels are indifferent, powerless or sympathize with those Islamists oppressing non Sunni minorities.

If Assad falls in all likelyhood there will be pogroms and ethnic cleansing of non Sunnis and Syria will be Iraq version 2 for Christians. As with Iraq, the West will be forced to take in Syrian Christian refugees while the Gulf countries , Turkey and Israel won't , despite these 3 blocks pushing for Assad's removal. Though Israel is not near as eager as the Turks and the Gulfies to see Assad gone.

The Muslim faith is just misunderstood. All westerners need to realize that the Muslim faith is a peaceful faith.

Which is why the Quran has such peaceful instructions, like how to properly beat your wife, or how to chop the fingers off of non-believers.

    Give me a fucking break.

    Not too bad.
Destroy all churches. Then the synagogues and mosques.
The world might become a little better.

The most fucked up part is that the "moderate" rebels being supported by the West, Gulf States and Turkey are actively working together with Al-Nusra, Al-Qaeda's Syrian branch. The even more fucked up part is that Al-Nusra had been allied with ISIS since November last year.

I'm not sure where you're getting that, but the U.S. has bombed al-nusra and will likely continue to do so if they act up.

Up to now, the U.S. has been ignoring al-nusra for the most part, allowing them and ISIL to pick at each other. The US on the other hand has been using the Free Syrian Army for intel, who have been steadily fighting al-nusra.

The article is disingenuous when it says that al-nusra is backed by the "west" but only suggests they've been receiving help from Turkey (which is dubious at best). Turkey has been teetering on the line lately with their actions which in no way is supported by the western countries.

The article doesn't say the West supported Al Nusra, it says the Turks supported the Rebels when they attacked Kessab despite Al Nusra being part of the attacking force.
