The overwhelming majority don't, hence the women's divisions have the higher decision rate. We've had tons of WMMA fights in the UFC and I can only recall one, maybe two, legitimate KO's due to fists, and neither of them were from one punch.

That's true. That seems to be the case with all the men's lower weights too. You don't get to see a lot of big one-punch KOs.

Don't need much power if the opponent leaves their chin out there like that.

Brieta has heavy, disciplined hands with a good ammy record of 8-2, 5 KO/TKOs. She really should turn pro for her next fight and hope Invicta offers her a contract.

Edit: Pancrase offered her a contract in the cage after her win. So she is officially a pro as of now.

I've been following the losing fighter's career somewhat, in that she (Serena DeJesus) has the rather unique distinction of being a fighter who is autistic. She's been an inspiring figure for at least one autistic woman I know, and I suspect for other autistic people as well. I'm a bit sad to see her lose like that.
