Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs Favorites Discussion Thread

Once again, Brandon makes a woman cry. As I said before, he's mentally unstable and has anger management issues. I'm surprised this guy hasn't killed anyone before or arrested for domestic violence, to my knowledge. But it is funny (and pathetic) to see Brandon threatening his tribe in every preview.

Shamar is just an asshole. But I'm glad he's there, for entertainment purposes.

The cool kids deserve their fate. They didn't learn anything from past seasons. They alienated their tribe and put a big target on their back by being so chummy together. At least solidify a strong 6-person alliance before flaunting yourselves.

Sherri, the woman who wants Shamar to be her Phillip, seems to be one of the sharpest contestant on the Fans side. Won't be surprised to see her go far in the game.

I'm a bit impressed with Phillip on how he adapted Boston Rob's approach and took control of his tribe. But he still lacks Rob's finesse and overall great personality. Glad to see "Stealth R' Us" is back. Didn't like his codename for Dawn.

seriously, why put yourself in a four-person group? i understand they probably thought they were working with others as well, and we saw them talking with the other guys, but from what we're seeing those four spent basically all their time together.

He has started off quite well hasn't he? Getting the majority alliance already.
But I think Malcolm might turn on him pretty quickly - he seems over the Stealth R Us initiative already

I don't think Stealth R' Us will try to get rid of Phillip this early. They have a good thing going for them where they have a strong 6-man alliance and it's convenient to keep Phillip around since it takes the target off of their backs.
 
The second episode was good as well. Glad to see the cool kids crew got what they deserved. Sherri seems to be a smart player and Shamar is an ass. Not really sure what to think about the favorites tribe. Phillip is the only one getting a bunch of airtime but I really can't see him controlling the game. I also think its hilarious that Brandon and Erik ended up in an alliance since they're the two idiots that got voted out after giving away their idols. I wonder if that's what brought them together.
 
They killed the drama at tribal by showing the second Hope vote as early as they did. As soon as it showed up you knew that Julia and Laura did not go through with the plan and that Hope was screwed. Oh well overall good episode although I think Andrea may be playing a little too hard too soon.
 
I want Lil Hantz to follow through.
 
(1) I can see the favorites going on a run.

(2) The fans are gonna fall apart. Right now this is a team game and they just keep pissing off their top 2 players in Eddy and Reynold. They need to be worrying about winning challenges more than getting them off the island at this point.

(3) You have a player that you essentially have to beg to stay on the show and not just straight up quit.... and you don't send them home? If he goes home the next day then you just pretty much lost an extra player off your team.

(4) Nobody on the fans team aside from Eddy or Reynold is gonna be able to win any challenges. They have nobody special.

(5) I can't stand Sherrie. I know her type. She is the kind that thinks she knows everything and is that snake in the grass that thinks she can run everything.

(6) They seem to imply that getting rid of Reynold is the main priority. But then two weeks in a row they vote off other people when he has the idol. It isn't that hard.... He can only play it one time. You split the vote and if he uses it then its gone and he goes home the next week and if not then he just goes home....
 
If I steal the idol from the person that has it can I use it as mine?
 
Shamar is a despicable character. Not quite on Colton status, but close. Can't stand miserable pricks like that.

That Sherri chick thinks she's being shrewd by sticking w/Shamar and the rest of that alliance but its been proven over and over again that you need to win challenges in this stage and go into the merge with the numbers. If they vote Eddie and Reynold out next, they are basically dead in the water. The favorites won't put up with Shamar's shit for one second in a merged scenario.

Pretty decent crazy stuff from The Specialist and Lil Hantz so far.

If I had to pick a winner right now, I'd pick Malcolm although he may suffer the same fate he did last season because hes such a strong competitor.
 
How is Sherri able to manipulate so many people to vote her way and keep her boy (aka her human shield) in the game? He had the right idea about quitting. He has no chance. Sooner or later Sherri will be done with him and if by chance he did make it to the final who would vote for him?
 
Fuckin' Phil is amazing.

His talk about the basketball...I had to rewind it like 3 times, I was laughing so hard.

"I play against guys twice my height....I guess they're just not used to the Magic Johnson, Larry Bird stuff I throw at them!!"

Love that guy.

Hate Shamar though. And hate that once again they got rid of a hot lady so early. They always do this. Although I think Hope was going to wither away to unattractiveness fairly quickly, it's nice to keep her kind around for at least a little while.

There's no way he's making it to the final.


I love how Sherri is a franchise owner (ie - fast food boss) and keeps saying that because of that she knows exactly how Shamar operates. And she's probably right, but what she's really saying is Shamar has the mentality of your average fast food worker!
 
Little Hantz might be the most transparent heel/asshole/in this just to make a name for himself player in the history of the game. He doesn't care about survivor, he cares about how much attention his time on the island can bring to him.
 
Sherri looks like on of those old pornstars who can't make it in the real world so she does things like interracial gangbangs, full throttle. She just has that old whore look.

Corrine has a smoking body and an OK face. I thought maybe outside of Survivor she would look hotter until I went on her twitter. Shudder. OK, not that bad, but not what I expected. Still better than Brenda.
