I have travel anxiety or something where I often times feel and get bloated and have trouble taking dumps when I travel and stay at a new place or hotel. Normally this is just kind of annoying but in the past it has made competing in things like BJJ extra nerve-wracking because I would feel like crap leading up to the match.

Anyone have this kind of issue and able to take something that helps? But also at the same time not something that'll make you shit your brains out while actually competing? I've looked up some stuff online but wanted to ask here too since it is competition relevant and keeping in mind competing/making weight etc.

Eat more soluble fiber (root vegetables, leafy greens, dried fruits, et cetera) and eat less insoluble fiber (grains, seed oils, et cetera).

You can supplement with ascorbic acid for acute episodes.

Yup fiber.
Also electrolytes like Potassium helps with bloating because it pushes the sodium out, I use it for weight cutting.
Magnesium helps you take a shit too.

Some good advice here, but I'd also look into reducing the amount of anxiety in the first place using meditation or relaxation techniques.

If the anxiety negatively affects your life elsewhere maybe therapy and/or medication may be worth looking into.

I have anxiety and bloating. Not eating at night and reducing my alcohol gets rid of it. No fast food, buy shit like apples, carrots, and sugar snap peas to snack on.

Fiber won't necessarily fix your bloating. If I eat some Kashi or Grape Nuts 3 or 4 days in a row I gain like 4 inches.

Lotsa water
Lotsa fiber
If it's legal in your area: CBD
Consider meditation, mindfulness, literally anything to actively/purposely help you physically and mentally chill.
