Can this be the thread where all of the info for this years SK WGP goes. I just have a few questions:

    1. Who has qualified so far?
    2. With the final 8 show in Nov, how many more 4 man qualifiers tournament shows will there be?
    3. How many fighters will make it to the final 8 without qualifying? Is it just last years champ or do a few guys automatically make the final 8?

Im trying to follow this promotion as much as I can but there seems to be little information online regarding it in English. I know some of the posters here are well informed about all things SK. Thanks in advance to anyone with answers.

    From Facebook:

An epic battle is announced for Superkombat World Grand Prix Giurgiu. In the main-event, Amir "The Sphinx" Zeyada, who knocked out Tyrone Spong twice, will face cruiserweight champion Bogdan Stoica!

Actually Zeyada is well-known in the Netherlands and very dangerous fighter. Kraus also had a bad period for ex. Amir won his last fight in Spain fighting good. I watched some of his last fights on Youtube. Against Ruibal for example. Not to mention that the penultime versus Parparyan was for the It"s Showtime title. No shame in losing to Murthel, Ouzgni, Braan and that Thai (3/4 decisions, first two are world class and Braan was winning Cosmo, Ouzgni and Murthel in those times). Trained by Harinck in the past. Now he"s at Mike"s Gym I heard, preparing under Melvin and sparring a lot with Murthel.

Good to see that SK is putting these events together. We also need a new It's Showtime in The Netherlands so guys can gain experience.

SuperKombat must be one of the most incompetent kickboxing organizations in the world. Corrupt jury and very bad matchmaking.

My god. What did I just see? Wilson vs. Garcia was a travesty and had nothing to to do with kickboxing.

How can one take Eduard Irimia serious?
