Could be good. Will withhold judgment. In addition to needing to strike the right notes with the origin story/introduction, you also have to cast the right actress. I'm sure Benoist will want it, but they will almost definitely go a different direction to avoid confusion. They don't want to be pigeonholed into the story the series has been telling and it makes no sense to cast the same actress as a different incarnation of the character.

I've brought this up numerous times but it was heavily rumored that WB was making Bale a huge offer to be Batman/Wayne again in Batman vs. Supes but it was not going to be the same Batman/Bruce Wayne from the Nolanverse. Imagine having the same actor as a different version of that character. It would be so bizarre and confusing.

By "avoiding confusion" you mean cause more? Nothing beats having two separate versions of the same character running at the same time. No, not that Supergirl, the other one. No no no, not the one with Peter Cook... Like boxing champions or the actual comics and their multiple concurrent continuities.
