Both undefeated

Butaev (12-0) vs Besputin (13-0)

Butaev amateur record is 392-8. Beat Cuban Olympic gold medalist twice
Besputin amateur record is 300-15 and ranked #1. Beat French Olympic medalist twice.

Butaev with some scary power

Drops Joel Diaz through body shield

Why do European fighters fight 300, 400 times as amateurs? It's almost like an admission that they can't hang in the pros.

Errol Spence had almost 400 fights
Shawn Porter had 300 fights

Because actually being an amateur, winning, the money involved and jobs they are given is bigger than going pro for the first 15-20 or so fights before you’re given a meaningful bout

Zou Shiming was paid millions by China to delay going pro if I recall

Súper Fight ? A 500k fight lol!!!!!!! And a secondary title wtf’

Note: Manny Pacquiao already holds the WBA welterweight championship. Besputin-Butaev will take place on November 30th at the Casino in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The British promoter presented the highest offer with US $505,555 to win the promotional rights. WBA purse bid rules stipulate equal (50/50) distribution for the two Russian boxers as first and second challengers. Besputin and Butaev are both nominally undefeated as professionals, but Butave has one loss in the World Series of Boxing, which are pro fights. The bidding took place on Monday, September 30th at the WBA Headquarters, located in Panama City and was directed by Aurelio Fiengo, vice-chairman of the WBA Ratings Committee. Patriots Promotions also participated in the bidding process and offered US$415,000, while Top Rank also participated with a proposal of US$315,000. As a one-time-only exception made by the President of the WBA, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, Top Rank participated via email and not in person as provided for in the Auction regulations.

A superfight with no namers

Great matchup with probably the two best 147 prospects in the game. Both are speedy guys with power and good amateur pedigree , gonna be interesting to see speed versus speed.

Lol I'll bite..Lomachenko and Usyk are the top 2 P4Pers in the world right now! Golovkin and Kovalev have been very high on P4P lists in recent years.. Gvozdyk, Beterbiev, Bivol etc are all killing it, the list is endless. Having all those amateur fights/expeerience seems to be usually apositive far more than it's a negative! Seeing as though the EasternEuros are kicking everyones asses in the pros.

I wasn't trolling really lol. I knew they did well moneywise as amateurs but if they really believe they'll be champ in the pros I think you can make so much more.

Only boxer you named that has an argument for p4p is Loma but I don't see how he surpasses Canelo and personally I find him a little over rated as his recent fights showed. Kov is good and was talked about as p4p then ran into Ward.

GGG not p4p, good but weak division. Not their fault but it is.

Beterbiev, Bivol no, sorry they hit hard but are plodders. Gvozdyk we'll see. They are all in a weak division tbh. Will be interesting to see if Canelo stays if he beats Kov.

Usyk yes good fighter but cw again weak division, p4p depends what he does at HW, a win over Gassiev at cw doesn't make you p4p. Gassiev another plodder.

Vapor& dust you're a trolling joke mate . Everything you wrote there is complete bullshit. Cruiser and Light Heavy are two of the strongest divisions in boxing. Usyk cleaned out the strongest division in boxing beating reigning undefeated big punching beasts in their prime in their backyard if doing that doesn't sit someone at the top of the P4P lists than nothing does! Run along and watch your Dontae videos and search for great black hopes to beat them lol!

The card also features undefeated heavyweight Olympic silver medalist from China, Zehlei Zhang who fights Ukrainian journeyman Andriy Rudenko. It begins at 12:00 PM est.

Anyone else watching this on DAZN right now?
I don't think we're going to be seeing many ( any? ) knockouts today in the main bouts judging by the match-ups & the fighter's records. I have a feeling that this is going to be one long broadcast. Oh well, at least Hughie Fury pulled out his fight so we don't have to sit through him for ten long rounds against some nobody.

I got it on now. I hope the mongoloid, back hair chap wins this one

This venue is fucking cool

The big China man is about to fight.

They just showed the weigh in, and he isn't fat or anything, but his mid section has like no muscle tone at all, it is pretty funny

This guy is huge lmao
