They really should've had Pedro Pascal or Don Frye as Mario. They don't even need makeup

If it isn't worse than the Leguizamo movie I'm not interested.

Charlie, Taylor-Joy, and Jack Black are good picks, maybe Key too (and of course the real voice of Mario- Charles Martinet). The others I'll wait and see. I know Kevin Michael Richardson is a legit voice actor, but as Kamek? Danny DeVito as Wario would work, he's already a short, round Italian, and his voice fits.

I watched the original film in 1993.

The only thing i remember is that Bob Hoskins played Mario.

    Epic .

Oh god, just stop with the video game movies, they nearly always suck.

Come up with something original FFS.

You should have mentioned this bit: "The Super Mario Bros. Animated Film movie"

    They are just doing voices.

Yeah I don't know why they didn't just use the guy who does the Mario voice in the games. Can Chris Pratt pull off the accent?

No idea why they just wouldn't use the game voice actor

Honestly, not enough diversity of the cast. It’s important that we do better with representation.

Hope they use some good animation, I'd actually like to watch this. Some of the children's CGI cartoon stuff I see my brother's kid watching is terrible. Big round heads....awful.

    Example:

And I still love the ending theme to Mario 2. Hope they use it for the credits.

I don't see the tweet. Cross site scripting and embedded shit is blocked.

Voice cast is not much important, i need to see the art style

But them spending lot on voice cast may mean they have decent budget for the whole thing, so good news i guess
