i need some cheap sparring gloves that are preferably 16 oz. i've been looking at everlast's MMA sparring gloves but they're only 12 oz so i'm not sure. any advice would be appreciated.

Define 'cheap'.

for me, i'd prefer it to be around 60 bucks. even then, thats kinda expensive for the money i have right now. but if it gets any cheaper than that, then the quality goes down much more, i'd imagine.

those actually look pretty decent. does anyone have any experience with these gloves?

Can't be bothered to take out the all linkies but there are several reviews of those gloves (3 different reviews with various peoples inputs) in this thread which is in the reviews for some reason:

Just read through and click on the various linkies in that thread.

Now you realise that you coulda gone to the reviews section and had a nose through there and got your question answered young grasshopper?:icon_twis

yeah, thanks a lot. still getting use to these forums though..

no probs.

KO do 12,16 and 20s for the bigger gent/hard hitter but 20s not up on site at moment from what I read.

yeah KO looks like a good company. do you know how the padding is in comparison to other gloves? (in terms of softness)

A very good inexpensive glove is. The Tapout Boxing glove it comes in 14,16, and 18oz size. You can get it at combat sports international for $49.99. Including shipping and $hit I got them to my door for about $61.00. These gloves are $89.00 everywhere else. It provides very good hand protection. Seems like it is really well made. The best part is the inside of the glove. The inside of the glove is like some neoprene $hit. It is the same material as the inside part of my combat sports premier shin guards.

Originally I had bought these gloves because I was using the everlast hook and loop training glove I got at big five for $35. So I got the tapouts to hold me until I had enough money. That was the original plan.

So I went to On The Mat fight Shop in San Francisco, and tried on different gloves. Trying to find my number one glove. I tried on the fairtex gloves the inside of them was the same $hit as the everlast gloves. But the outside of the fairtex glove is a better leather. And I dont think the cushioning on the fairtex glove is as good as the tapout glove.

Anyways I tried on different gloves and in my opinion none of them matched up to my tapout glove as far as construction and hand protection. The tapout glove has 3 inches of High impact foam padding over the knuckles.

I am very happy with the tapout gloves. They provide very good hand protection. I have the 18oz. And I weigh 308lbs, and I can beat the $hit out of the bag at about 80% punching power and my hands felt good during and after training.

Can anyone tell is there any other gloves that use the neopren $Hit in the inside. Probaly a combat sports glove, don't they make tapout gloves. Instead of that vinyl $Hit that they put inside of the everlast and fairtex gloves. The neoprene interior is the $Hit. It soaks up the sweat well during traing. And I dont see it tearing anytime soon.
