The day after Pans, on Monday March 21 I'm hosting a charity seminar for my #submitthestigma campaign at Studio 540. The campaign exists to help the BJJ community normalize mental illness, promote the benefits of training in terms of alleviating mental illness and helping to prioritize mental well-being like we do physical health. A minimum $25 donation to the National Alliance on Mental Illness allows you entry into the seminar to learn from Rubens "Cobrinha" Charles, Romulo Barral, Caio Terra, Gianni Grippo, Abraham Marte and Kristina Barlaan. More information about the campaign and the seminar can be found at www.submitthestigma.org and donations can be made here: www.gofundme.com/submit-the-stigma Patches are on the way and you can begin purchasing them soon on the website. I'm also gathering stories from individuals who have personal experiences with mental illness and how jiu-jitsu has helped them in that respect. Hope you guys can make it.
