Any news on his return?

I know he started training again, but does anybody know when he is expected to fight again?

Who would you like him to face?
His last fight against Hunt was great and before that he had a nice streak going. He's been out for a long time with a serious condition though. I hope he gets an easier opponent on his return, so he can work his way back up.

Thoughts?

I would hope the ACs wouldn't allow it. TKO's can't be good for heart conditions.

I've enjoyed watching him fight throughout his career. I always thought he'd do a little better than he did, but he's had a respectable career.

Young as he is, he's got a lot of mileage on him. If he continues to fight, I hope for his sake he abandons the reckless brawling approach.

Same, though I actually thought he may do less well than he did. Tons of heart and very scrappy, but man does he have porous defence.

Anyway if he returns then I hope he fights someone like Schaub.

I would love to see Struve put a beating on Schaub.

He's just a walking KO. Chinny and easy to hit. Needs to get fights on the ground more often to utilise what he has. Nice guy.

Agree, it's just painfull watch the man eat those big shots in everyfight

He needs to start training with Jones so he can learn how to take advantage of his height/reach.

His chin is (well....was) not bad. He is just wiiiiiiide open and fights at HW. He gets belted a lot. Solid mid-tier guy.

Wouldn't call him chinny, he has eaten a lot of big shots. That's his problem though, he is very easy to hit, despite his reach

His chin isn't too bad. While he did get 1 punch KOd by Browne, he took some good shots from Miocic and won that fight and took a bunch from Hunt before finally going down and he wasn't even KOd either. Nelson and JDS threw many punches before he finally went down too, which would have happened to anyone. But yeah he really needs to work on his defense though or else he may turn into Overeem.

He should not fight anymore. I like him but he has taken enough. He has better athleticism than most nba guys his side. Even if cant shoot, would be a solid defensive center or big fwd and those guys make more than 95 percent of mma guys. Plus he won't be slurring his words in a few years.
