Strickland looks legitimately afraid of Adesanya

I noticed in the press conference that Strickland didn't seem to want to make eye contact with Israel during the staredown.

It's even more noticeable here at the weigh ins, Strickland seems like he can't hold eye contact with Adesanya for more than a couple seconds and looks noticeably fidgety and nervous IMO.

It's like after he looks into Adesanya's eyes he can't help but look away to the crowd but tries to play it off and tells Izzy to "calm down china man" while his body language seems unconfident.

What say you shookologists, is he scared or nah?

Strickland has always been socially awkward, and tons on non-narcissist fighters don't like making literally awkward levels of eye-contact.

I don't think it means anything come fight time but Strickland looked uncomfortable up there. I expected Izzy to KO him even if he walked on stage like a boss. Strickland scored a 9 out of 10 on the Shookology meter.
