Strategically, Brock vs Hunt is going to come down to one thing.....

....Brock's level change/shot vs. Hunt's favorite counter to that - the short uppercut as he moves/circles away, and whose timing is better and catches who.

Watch for it, sound smart to all your friends, and thank me later.

Brock's head is so big that it may take multiple Hunt shots, but I believe the giant will be slayed

It's weird - he took shots from Carwin and was OK but against Cain, Reem got flustered. In training you always hear that it's the ones you don't see coming that KO you - so if he's not looking out for that counter uppercut when he shoots, and falls right into it, watch out.

Obviously, I'll also add, if Hunt misses but is able to still sprawl/get hips away and get underhooks, he could still fight off the takedowns but that's MUCH easier said than done against a monster like Brock.

IMO it will come down to Lesnar's cardio. He has the skills to control hunt, but he may not be able to sustain it over the entire fight, especially if he is nervous/anxious.

Okay? he turtled up in the fetal position for the rest of the round against Carwin.

Between previous UFC fights & WWE, Brock has a lot of experience performing in big situations. I don't remember him having any problems with nervousness in any of his fights. I also doubt cardio will be a problem because, if the fight lasts into the 3rd round, it's likely Brock will have been controlling the fight.

You may want to go watch that fight again. Brock got back to his feet with over a minute left in the round & had control of Carwin up against the cage for the last minute of that round.

Really? He had Carwin up against the cage on his feet trying for a takedown while "turtled up in a fetal position"? Pull your head out of your ass and watch the fight again

That's a possibility, but it could also come down to whether Hunt can survive on the ground to the next round standing and get another chance.

It could come down to how well Hunt can defend the GnP and not get pounded out immediately.

It could come down to cardio

It could come down to who is naturally stronger and whether Hunt can defend the TD's.

Could come down to a lot of things. I think it's more likely that Hunt lands a hook or cross on a break following a TD defense than him landing a perfectly-timed uppercut on a shot.

can't wait to sound smart to my friends. gonna be awesome

I think it will come down to whether Hunt can get up after a TD, I'm pretty sure Brawk will get him down, depends if he can keep him there.
