Stool in Cormier - Hendo Fight

Not a serious thread, but wtf was going on with the stool in the cage after the third round of the cormier / hendo fight? Cormier put hendo to sleep, walked around for a while and then sat down on a stool on the other side of the cage? Shouldn't that not be in there??

I'd imagine it was dropped there by his corner probably, didn't really think about it too much.

Edit: It certainly wasn't there while they were fighting.

 

I'd like a seat too if I just won a fight.

shoulda put some chicken on top of it, if they are that slick to get him a seat after that performance - how did they get it in there? did someone lean over?

quality cornering - im more used to seeing corner guys fighting over being the alpha and forgetting to do simple things like let the fighter sit down as quickly as possible and getting him water asap - this is another level of corner, mind = blown

 

Last night in the Barao/Dillashaw fight one of TJ's cornermen was hanging over the cage and applying an icepack to TJ's chest/stomach while he was sitting on the stool in between rounds. They're not all messing around in there!

yea thats a good point i remember that too - bc i think you can only have one corner in the cage aside from the cut man, so leverage that sht and have someone jump over the cage and put ice on you - brilliant

 

DC dictated the fight would take place on the other side of the cage.

 

that makes sense, it was part of his strategy / game plan to avoid the stool

 

That is so gross, and of course it should not be in the cage, it belongs in a toilet. I'm just glad they didn't slip on it during the fight. That would have been disgusting!
