If it makes your opponent frustrated, to a point they make mistakes, I'd say it's certainly effective, if not cool.

It being effective is a different point altogether. I'm wondering though, who has been frustrated by it, to the point where they made mistakes?

Nick did it to Condit a million times and not once did he look bothered by it . It just seems to be a lazy move they do when nothing else is clicking for them
