Oh please make this happen...tbh I think DC with his wrestling, athleticism and all round skill set would Stipes biggest challenge...DC won't get tired, he's fast has a great chin and awsome skill set standing and on the ground
What say you Sherdoggers

DC said it himself, Cain will come and lay the smacksdown on stipe and stall the heavyweight division....

Plus stipe would beat DC .

I'd as soon see this as Cain. I just dont see him staying healthy enough for a run. DC has nothing to do at LHWT. Jones and that is it and at his age, even a short suspension puts him awfully near 40. His chances get worse the longer it goes. He would cement his legacy as one of the top 5 or so UFC fighters with a win over Stipe. It would also be a great way to retire. Fighting at LHWT and beating the guys he's already beat doesn't do much for his legacy and unless he eats Jones, he will always have an asterisk in many peoples minds.

Was literally about to make this thread! Seems like the only logical option for both guys with no obvious contenders for either and Stipe being a (sort of) small HW.

Cain should need another fight before a title shot anyways and DC can vacate the belt for him if he wins. It’s the fight to make.

Cain doesn't deserve the title shot. He should have at least two fights before that.

Hard fight to pick.

Gun-to-my-head instinct: Stipe.

I think Stipe's pretty fast, technical, and sharp for a guy who weighs as much as he does.

He might be the closest thing we have to a perfect heavyweight.
