Mirko is going to mentally fail long before he physically fails.
Gonzaga scarred him for life and he's gonna be shook once he stares across the octagon at the guy who permanently derailed his MMA career.
I still can't believe Mirko's leg didn't have serious damage after it was a bent back underneath him.

Both guys are not the beasts they were many years ago. But at this point I see Crocop winning this. I would love to see him win by LHK by I see him winning a UD.
And for the record. Crocop has nothing for GG on the ground except the ability to defend for a while and maybe get up.

he did. his knee was injured in that fight.. mirko stopped kicking after that injury and surgery.. till 2012.. now his kicking strong and fast once again, so gonzaga will end up in a hospital after the fight.

Crocop will get revenge, im sure of it. I wouldnt say he is better everywhere than Crocop, its clearly striker vs Grappler.
Although Gonzaga won my KO last time he shouldnt fall in love with his striking, that has cost him fights before. Mirko will win standing but will lose in any Grappling aspect.
I feel Mirko will win by KO this time when Gonzaga tries to fight him standing. This is the start of Mirko avenging stupid losses he should have taken. (Mir, Nelson and Schaub are up next hopefully)

Good to hear his leg is better, been a fan of his for a decade now and would like to see him win.
As for the hospital comment, dude it's a heavyweght fight... everyone ends up in the hospital after a HW fight.

Mirko striking. Gabriel BJJ. Wrestling could goes either way based on history. Absurd to say Mirko could beat Gabriel in BJJ though.

I didn't know any of that. All I remember was CC talking in a interview saying that his ankle was hurt and went through lots of rehab which was brutal for him. What exactly happened to his knee?

Gonzaga is certainly better at bjj and he's a better wrestler.
