I like Stipe but I find it questionable to call him GOAT simply because he lost to a somewhat-prime JDS (and then beat him later when JDS was further out of his prime) while Cain was able to put down a massive beating on absolute prime JDS. Because of that, I'm just not sure how well Stipe would've done against the older generation of heavyweights. Also, he lost to Struve.
if only stipe wasnt TKO'ed by stefen struve..........
so you are saying stipe was not past his prime? those in goat categories didnt lose till past thier prime, fedor didnt lose in his second year as a pro, neither did khabib, or jones, or any other 'potential' goat. and he never did avenge that loss. now that struve is old and clearly past his gatekeeper status stipe will never get to avenge said loss.Stipe lost to Struve in his 2nd year of pro career...
TKOd by Struve in his purime at 30

guy was 30 years old. doenst matter if it was his 2nd year or 5th year. he got TKO'ed by a gatekeeper. he will never be goat. 30 years old as a fighter is prime fighting age. he got TKO'ed in his prime 2nd year or not. not hard to understand or make sense of this. fedor went like 32-0 against the cream of the crop (before he lost, way way past his prime)You dont even make sense. Cut the BS

only his 2nd year fighting but it was his 10th fight in 2 years.........what a noob only fighting ten times in 2 years.Ok thanks for your input
He didnt finish the best HWs of his era either. Only DC, Del Rosario really.
Exactly. That idiot fails to realize that stipe will never be goat over Fedor due to momentum... Fedor didn't lose early in his career (legitimately). Stipe lost twice!!You dont even make sense. Cut the BS

Frank didn’t get “neutralized” by Lewis that’s revisionist crap. Both dudes were non active by choice. Neither showed up that night.Ngannou also got outclassed by Miocic and neutralized by Lewis.
BJ was at the top with one year of MMA. Ngannou is a great talent and hard worker, and evolving, do not downplay him. And get real, everybody in the roster is avoiding these men.
Ngannou didnt beat Cormier and Werdum btw, nor Miocic himself. I would love to see him vs Volkov, it's a fantasy matchup for the HW division and whoever wins a great challenge for the champ imo
