Overeem has the power and experience, but Stipe is way more skilled and talented. The difference of skill and talent is too big. Of course overeem always has a chance to hit him with something big and end the fight, but is very unlikely.

Stop with these. Overeem is one of the greatest strikers at HW along with Cro Can. Rooting for Stipe but stop.

Overeem is a former K-1 World Champion who has adapted his style very well to MMA. Aware me how the difference in skill and talent is too big

yeah honestly as long as alistar protects his chin he has the advantage pretty much every where. I think for stipe to win this fight he has to turn it into a brawl and make it fucking grueling, make overeem want to quit.

It's a pick em fight for me.

Stipe has great hands / wrestling.

Reem has great all around striking, and phenomenal knees.

It may be a "who draws first blood" scenario.

I don't know about all that.

I just figure Stipe breaks the glass chin and IT'S ALL OVER !

Sherdog has truly gone downhill. Since when did top-10 HWs start to walk through other top-10 HWs? Is there a precedent of dominant, long-reigning HW champs in the UFC walking through all commers?

I like Stipe but I'm not sold on him as champ. I think Cain or JDS beat him every time.

Post USADA Econoreem might have the boring Jacksons strategy to beat Stipe, but I kinda doubt it.

This fight is tricky. I thought Stipe was a bad matchup for Werdum as he has good TDD and good fundamental boxing. Werdum usually has pretty good distance control though.

Stipe can always catch Reem's chin but Reem's offense is so good which makes up for his defense. Tough fight to pick but I have to pick Stipe.
